Doxycycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against manyGram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Bordetella, Campylobacter, E. coli,Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. Doxycyclineis also active against Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Rickettsia spp. The action of doxyeyclineis based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Doxycycline has a great affinity to thelungs and is therefore especially useful for treatment of bacterial respiratory infections.

Dosage:
For oral administration:
Swine: Twice daily 100 g per 200Liters of water for 3 -5 days.
Poultry: 100g this product per 200 - 400 liters of drinking water for 3 - 5 days.
