[Drug Interactions]
- It has a synergistic effect with Bacillus zinc 1:5.
- Combination with neuromuscular blocking agents such as muscle relaxants and amino sugars may cause muscle weakness and apnea.
- It has a synergistic effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa with integrative agent (EDTA) and cationic detergent, and is often used in combination for the treatment of local infections.
- Combining with drugs that can damage kidney function can enhance its nephrotoxicity.
[Usage and Dosage] Based on this product.
Mixed feeding: For every 1000kg of feed, 0.75-1kg for cattle, pigs, and chickens, for 3-5 consecutive days.
[Adverse reactions]
Colistin can be well tolerated by animals when taken orally or locally. Systemic application can cause nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity and neuromuscular blocking effects. Colistin is more potent than polymyxin B is small.
[Precautions]
- It is prohibited during the laying period of laying hens.
- Excessive dosage may cause renal function damage.
